By Walking on the pebbles ...

As a kid , I walked on pebbles , choosing the ones that had the perfect angle
to instinctivelly stimulate the zones providing relief and wellness.
A few years ago, one of my young kids struggled to sleep, I had a routine : reading him a book and massaging his foot, to help him fall asleep. Till the day I realised his growing teeth pain was reduced thanks to the foot massage on certain zone of the foot.
I didnt know it by then, but that particular day marked the start of a long and beautiful adventure that led me to become a reflexologist some years later.

Reflexology
During a session, some specifics spots on the foot are stimulated, following a correspondance established with the whole body . Each part of the body got its correspondance on the foot .
per pressure on specific spots (the “reflex zones”), sending a nervous message and creating a response from the organs and muscles.
Reflexology regards the person in its whole globality , body and spirit , and aims at promoting the natural fonctions of self-healing of the body.
Reflexology also acts on an energetic level.
Reflexology provides a state of deep relaxation and helps the body to mantain its state of balance.
Benefits :
-
Deep feeling of peace on all levels : body , spirit and mind .
-
Better blood , lymphatic, nervous and energetic, circulation. -
Release of muscle tension, -
Improvement of the stress and pain management
Reflexology also allows to improve life quality of persons with serious diseases, in addition to their purely medical follow-up and treatment. It also allows to be in the best disposition possible to follow treatment and beat the sickness
Reflexology is a gentle practice without any dangers, it can benefit to everyone.
Each session proposed is adapted to you situation , according to your expectation and needs.
There are little and rare contraindications to reflexology that are systematically checked before any session.
Important : Reflexology is in not a substitute to your medical follow-up, does not offer any diagnosis and does not replace your consultations with your medical doctor, or the follow-up of your medical treatment.
After my professional certification in reflexology in 2019, with a classical approach, I opened my practice and and received my first customers in Aix-Les-Bains.
I quickly realised that my first approach was not covering the integrity of my observations neither some of the feedback that my customers gave, yet they seemed potentially precious to me, I assumed it would be sad to ignore them.
Looking for a way to Integrate them, I embarked on a fascinating journey to the reflexology heart allowing me to find keys to understand, in other approaches and discovering new technics that have come to nourrish my practice.
So I explored different approaches to reflexology, by following courses and by personnal work study.
The Reflexology that I propose to you today hence roots from those different approaches and techniques as well as my own technics that I have developped over the course of time.
Each Session is unique and built According to what emerges from the conversation we have at the beginning of the session and according to what your feet reveal during the session.
After my initial cerification in Foot and palmar reflexology , since 2019, I have followed the following training courses: Reflexology and pain in chronic diseases : fibromyalgia and autoimmune diseases, Reflexology and brain, Reflexology and cancer, reflexology and palliative care, Reflexology and kansu bowl, Craniofacial reflexology,
Sessions take place at the Espace Aurore, 31 bis rue Jacotot, Aix-Les-Bains or at home or your staying place in Aix les Bains.
Foot Reflexology (1h)
Foot work consists of harmonizing the areas that are out of balance, to allow the body to optimize its ability to self-balance.
To do this, I use both the information collecting during our conversation at the beginning of the session is as well as what echos from your feet during the session.
Reflexology with a Kansu bowl (40 mins)
The Kansu bowl is a small bowle alloy of different metals that give it balancing properties.
Traditionally, it was used in India by young children who massaged the feet of the elderly while the latter told them stories during a privileged time of exchange and transmission.
It is used to massage the foot with ghee (clarified butter) or coconut oil.
A reflexology session with the Kansu bowl combines bowl massage and reflexology, it allows total relaxation, body and mind: it relieves anxiety, stress and improves sleep.
Craniofacial Reflexology (40 mins)
A session of reflexology craniofacial allow deep relaxation and it give an immediate effect of intense relaxation
I practice the method created and taught by Elisabeth Breton (connective reflex techniques, periosteal techniques, Viscero-Cutaneous Dermalgia)
Hand Reflexology (40mins)
Hand reflexology is suitable for everyone and is particularly suitable for children or the very elderly or when work on the feet is not possible or desired.
